Ms. Le Thuy Anh is the Chairwoman of Vinmec Healthcare System. She brings over 30 years of leadership experience in healthcare management, communications, and strategic operations. Before joining Vinmec, she held senior roles at Coca-Cola Vietnam, the French Hospital in Hanoi (Vietnam), and MSI (UK), where she gained deep expertise in building complex systems and driving institutional change.
At a time when Vietnam’s healthcare landscape lacked both the concept of patient-centered care and any precedent for a private academic healthcare model, Ms. Thuy Anh was one of the key architects behind Vinmec’s foundation – shaping its early strategy, operating model, and service philosophy. She helped establish Vinmec Times City – the first 5-star hospital in Vietnam founded and operated by a private corporation – setting a new benchmark for quality care in the country.
Since becoming CEO in 2011 and Chairwoman in 2025, she has consistently pursued a long-term vision: transforming Vinmec from a premium service provider into Vietnam’s first private, not-for-profit academic healthcare system, built on three pillars: clinical care, research, and education.
Under her leadership, Vinmec has expanded to 9 hospitals, 4 international clinics, and a regenerative medicine research institute. The system now includes 4 internationally aligned Centers of Excellence in:
Cardiology
Oncology
Orthopedics & Sports Medicine
Clinical Immunology & Allergy
Vinmec has also pioneered numerous advanced medical techniques in Vietnam, including:
Autologous Immune Cell Therapy (AIET) for cancer
Single-incision laparoscopic surgery
3D-printed tumor implants for bone reconstruction
With a forward thinking and people centered leadership approach, Ms. Thuy Anh has reshaped Vietnam’s private healthcare landscape and inspired a new generation of healthcare professionals. Alongside strategic growth, she has placed strong emphasis on building an inspiring and high-performing workplace culture. She introduced and embedded the C.A.R.E. values – Compassion, Adaptability, Responsibility, and Excellence – as a core cultural compass throughout the organization. These values not only guide patient care, but also foster a collaborative, empowering, and mission-driven environment for staff at all levels. By championing this culture, she has cultivated a team of dedicated professionals and created a workplace where people feel valued, motivated, and inspired to pursue excellence.
