Twelve companies certified in Vietnam made Great Place To Work’s first ever Southeast Asia’s Best Workplaces in Technology 2026, from global R&D centers to homegrown software firms with regional ambitions.
“Six years ago, we set out to build a world-class engineering culture in Vietnam, one that could stand shoulder to shoulder with the best teams anywhere. Today’s recognition is a proud milestone, but more importantly, it is only the beginning. We move forward with greater ambition: to keep raising the standard for what a tech workplace in Vietnam can be.” – RAKSUL Vietnam
That ambition, from the Vietnam engineering team of Japanese printing and logistics platform RAKSUL, captures the mood of the country’s showing on Southeast Asia’s Best Workplaces™ in Technology 2026. Twelve of the 50 winning companies are certified in Vietnam, ranging from global names running serious R&D operations to local firms that built their reputations one delivery at a time.
The list draws on confidential survey responses from 219,262 employees across six countries, making it the largest workplace culture survey in the region.

560,000 developers and counting
Vietnam now counts more than 560,000 software developers, with roughly 55,000 to 60,000 IT graduates entering the workforce each year, according to industry analysis from Dirox and Van Pham International. The country ranks among the top ten global destinations for software development outsourcing and third in Southeast Asia. Statista projects IT outsourcing revenue to grow at roughly 17 per cent a year through 2028.
The government put more than US$50 million into IT education initiatives in 2024, with programs concentrated on AI, blockchain and data science and a target of adding over 200,000 IT professionals. Growth at that pace creates its own problem in that everyone is hiring from the same pool. The companies on this list answered it by building workplaces their engineers describe, in their own survey responses, as worth staying for.
“Being recognized as one of Southeast Asia’s Best Workplaces™ in Technology 2026 is a meaningful milestone for Niteco. It reflects our belief that innovation starts with people. By fostering a culture of trust, continuous learning, and collaboration, we empower our teams to create exceptional digital solutions and make a lasting impact for our clients and communities.” – Niteco
“At CBTW, we believe great technology starts with great people – and that business succeeds when communities succeed alongside it. Being recognized as one of Southeast Asia’s Best Workplaces™ in Technology reflects the culture we’ve built together: one where collaboration fuels innovation, continuous learning drives growth, and every individual is empowered to make a meaningful impact.” – Pieter van Diermen, CBTW Founder and CEO APAC
Six years ago, RAKSUL’s team set out to prove a world-class engineering culture could be built in Vietnam. Twelve certified workplaces later, the evidence suggests they had plenty of company.
